Job Description:
Wesdome Gold Mines is hiring a Warehouse Technician to join the Eagle River Mine team in Wawa, ON. This role is essential in supporting warehouse operations and ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service at the parts counter
- Handle shipping, receiving, and stocking of inventory
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and offload trucks
- Prepare shipping documents, assemble containers/crates, and pack goods for transport
- Direct delivery trucks and assist with unloading
- Inspect and record incoming shipments, trace lost shipments, and process damaged/returned items
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate logistics
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and narrow aisle trucks
Requirements:
- Warehousing experience (mining environment preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Proficiency in computerized inventory systems (SAP experience an asset)
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
