FIFO Shift Schedule: 7/7 Rotation (12-hour day shifts)
Job Description:
Wesdome Gold Mines is seeking a Warehouse Foreman to join the Finance team at the Eagle River Mine in Wawa, ON. Reporting to the Procurement & Warehouse General Foreman, this role will lead warehouse staff and ensure efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe working conditions and lead by example
- Supervise, train, and coach warehouse personnel
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
- Monitor inventory levels and movements using SAP, addressing shortages or overstocks
- Analyze stock data and take corrective actions to improve levels
- Administer and process purchasing instruments (contracts, POs, etc.) for stocked goods
- Maintain SAP ordering criteria (consumption, forecast profiles, supplier lead times, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve inventory management incidents
- Support Procurement and Warehouse policy compliance
- Participate in accident/incident investigations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- SAP experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
