Job Description:
Agnico Eagle is offering an Underground Mine Engineering Internship at the Hope Bay Project in Nunavut. This fly-in fly-out opportunity integrates students into the Mine Engineering Department, providing hands-on experience in underground mining operations and engineering support.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily production reporting, conducting underground surveys, updating CAD drawings for development and construction, performing ventilation surveys, supporting short-term planning tasks, and contributing to special projects aligned with the intern’s skills.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mine Engineering. Experience with Deswik software, prior underground mining exposure, and working in multicultural environments are considered assets. Strong English communication skills are required.

This internship provides full camp accommodations, meals, and charter flights. Schedule is 21/21 rotation, with flights available from Kitikmeot communities or Edmonton, Alberta.
