Job Description:
Experienced Scoop Operators are required for an underground mine construction project in British Columbia. This is a fly-in / fly-out role supporting underground mining operations in a physically demanding environment. Operators will work with large scooptram equipment while adhering to strict safety and operational standards. This is not an entry-level position and requires prior underground mining experience.
This is a fly-in / fly-out camp-based role with rotational scheduling.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating underground scooptrams (4, 6, and 8 yd) safely and efficiently
Performing physically demanding work in an underground mining environment
Working varied rotational schedules as required by the project
Complying with site safety standards and procedures
Successfully completing pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Requirements:
Prior underground mining experience
Ability to perform physically demanding underground work
Availability for rotational work schedules
