Job Description:
Swampers support hydrovac operations across pipeline and oilfield projects, providing hands-on assistance to ensure safe, efficient excavation and site execution. Working alongside Hydrovac Operators, this role is physically demanding and safety-critical, requiring experience in oilfield or pipeline environments and the ability to perform consistently during long shifts.
This is a fly-in/fly-out style role with camp accommodations and paid travel provided.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting hydrovac excavation operations at pipeline and oilfield sites
- Assisting with hose handling, site setup, and general ground support
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas around hydrovac equipment
- Following job hazard analyses, safety procedures, and site-specific requirements
- Working long shifts in physically demanding and variable weather conditions
- Supporting operators and supervisors to ensure efficient job completion
