FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Pay: ~$52/hour

Job Description:
Skeena Gold + Silver is seeking a Supervisor, Drill and Blast to support open-pit operations at the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project in northwest BC. Reporting to the Drill and Blast Lead, this role provides frontline supervision of drilling and blasting activities, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution while meeting production, fragmentation, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily drill and blast operations in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Oversee drilling accuracy, blast preparation, charging, tie-ins, and misfire management
  • Ensure blast designs are executed correctly to achieve fragmentation and wall control targets
  • Coordinate blast schedules with mining, technical services, and maintenance teams
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, JHAs, and field-level risk assessments
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and misfires; complete required reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, performance, and cost control

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid BC Blasting Ticket
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
  • 5–10 years’ experience in open-pit drill and blast operations
  • Supervisory experience in drilling and/or blasting
  • Experience with start-up projects and RC drilling (asset)
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts in remote camp conditions
