Job Description:
A leading underground mining operation in Northern Ontario is hiring Shaft Services Crew Members. This fly-in fly-out role is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transport of personnel, ore, waste, and equipment between surface and underground while supporting production operations.
Key responsibilities include operating hoists, skips, crushers, and conveyors; performing equipment inspections; preparing ore and waste for surface transport; and assisting underground crews with loaders, jack-legs, and scoops as needed. Crew members must follow strict safety procedures and support supervisors with additional assigned tasks.
Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of underground mining experience. Experience operating mobile equipment, hoists, conveyors, or crushers is an asset. Strong safety record, communication skills, and physical ability to work underground are required.
