FIFO Shift Schedule: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Job Description:
Remote Camp Attendants play a key role in maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable camp environments. Working independently and as part of a team, you’ll ensure camp facilities meet cleanliness and hygiene standards in a fast-paced, remote setting.
This is a camp-based role with accommodations provided. You’ll support daily operations by maintaining living and common areas to a high standard while demonstrating strong organization and customer service skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, furniture, and fixtures
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Operating janitorial equipment (floor scrubbers, polishers, vacuums)
- Maintaining janitorial supplies and organized workspaces
- Reporting maintenance issues to appropriate personnel
- Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Working independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
- Maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude
Qualifications & experience:
- Previous experience in camp, hotel, institutional, or commercial cleaning environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of janitorial cleaning procedures, chemicals, and products
- WHMIS certification
- Strong English reading and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
