Job Description:
A major underground mining operation in Ontario is hiring an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to lead day-to-day underground operations. This fly-in fly-out (or drive-in/drive-out) role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring safe work practices, and meeting production and development targets.

Key responsibilities include supervising and motivating underground crews, coordinating mucking, drilling, and hauling activities, conducting daily safety interactions, leading line-up meetings, mentoring employees, handing over completed development drifts, and collaborating with other departments to improve productivity and adopt new technologies.

Candidates must have 5–10 years of underground mining experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory role. Underground Hard Rock Mining Supervisory Common Core certification is required. Experience in production mining (stope charging/drilling) is an asset. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
