FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off (Eskay Creek Mine, remote camp)

Job Description:
Skeena Gold + Silver is seeking a Planner Scheduler to join the Project Controls team at the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project in northwest BC. Reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager, this role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to support safe, efficient, and on-time execution. The Planner Scheduler will work closely with engineers, construction teams, contractors, and management to track progress, assess risks, and provide clear reporting that drives successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Break down project scope into work packages with durations, dependencies, and resources
  • Track project progress against baseline schedules; analyze variances and forecast risks
  • Recommend corrective actions when deviations occur
  • Collaborate with site teams (PMs, engineers, contractors) to gather schedule updates
  • Communicate schedule status and impacts via reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Manage schedule changes and incorporate approved scope adjustments
  • Maintain documentation of schedule assumptions, logic, and revisions
  • Provide timely, accurate reports for management and stakeholders
  • Support project controls with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 3–7 years’ experience in planning and scheduling large-scale projects (mining sector preferred)
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related project control tools
  • Direct site-based experience considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in collaborative teams
