Job Description

FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Pay: ~$52–$56/hour

Job Description:
Skeena Gold + Silver is seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor to oversee open-pit mining operations at the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. Reporting to the Mining General Foreperson, this role leads crews, enforces safety standards, and drives operational efficiency across mining and earthworks activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise crews of 10–20+ personnel in an open-pit mining environment
  • Lead daily operations, crew lineups, timecards, and reporting
  • Enforce BC mine health & safety standards; lead toolbox meetings
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Support work planning, QC/QA requirements, and survey alignment
  • Oversee heavy equipment operations and use of GPS/survey tools

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BC Mine Shift Boss Ticket or BC Mine Supervision Certificate (required)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • 2–5+ years supervisory experience in open-pit mining
  • Strong knowledge of BC mining safety regulations
  • Experience leading crews, optimizing productivity, and managing field execution
