FIFO Shift Schedule: 14/14 Rotation (12-hour shifts, days and nights)
Job Description:
New Gold is hiring Mill Operators for the Rainy River Mine in Emo, ON. This camp-based role with travel accommodations provided involves the safe and efficient operation of processing plant circuits, including crushing, grinding, leaching/elution, reagents, detox, and tailings. Operators will monitor circuits, inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and production standards are consistently met.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a milling environment
- Operational experience with grinding, leaching, reagents, CND, tailings, crushing, elution, and control room
- Knowledge of Delta V or similar systems
- High mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s licence with access to personal transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills, safety focus, and teamwork abilities
- Proficient with computers and plant control systems
