Job Description:
Agnico Eagle is hiring a Production Metallurgist for the Meliadine Mine in Nunavut. This fly-in fly-out position is part of the Process Plant Department and is responsible for optimizing plant performance, ensuring accurate production data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include monitoring sampling and mass balance, reviewing KPIs and implementing corrective measures, improving automated plant control systems, leading process optimization initiatives, managing reagent consumption and inventories, and coordinating activities of the metallurgical and refinery teams.

Candidates must hold a degree in Metallurgical or Mineral Processing Engineering (or related discipline) with 3–5 years of process plant operations experience. Experience with Advanced Process Control (APC) systems is required, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
