FIFO Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off

Job Description:
Journeyperson Pipefitters play a critical role in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of industrial piping systems and related equipment on major energy infrastructure projects. Working within a safety-first operating environment, you’ll apply your full trade scope to support piping, testing, and equipment coordination activities while maintaining strict adherence to site and company standards.

This role supports Strike’s operational mandate of safety excellence, accountability, and disciplined execution in a camp-based project environment.

This is a fly-in/fly-out camp role at the Mount Bracey Compressor Station near Prince George. Meals, accommodations, and travel are provided, along with shift-based travel pay and camp retention incentives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with installation, testing, and rigging of pipe spools and materials
  • Supporting bolt-up and torquing of piping flanges
  • Assisting with hydrotesting of piping spools
  • Supporting heavy equipment operators with rigging, signaling, and secure attachment of equipment
  • Participating in pre-job toolbox meetings and hazard identification
  • Ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work procedures
  • Identifying and reporting hazards or unsafe work practices
  • Maintaining clean, organized work areas and returning tools at shift end
