Job Description:
Newmont is hiring Journeyperson Millwrights to join the Fixed Plant Maintenance team at Brucejack Mine in Northern BC. This is a fly-in/fly-out opportunity with camp accommodations, private rooms, meals, recreation facilities, and transportation provided from hubs across Western Canada. Pay is $61.20/hour plus a 10% short-term incentive. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on milling equipment, troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns, completing tasks in the CMMS system, and working collaboratively with operations and project teams.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Millwright Certification
- Minimum 2 years of mill maintenance experience in mining
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, instrumentation, electrical)
- Proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience an asset
- Ability to work safely in a remote camp setting
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing required
