Job Description:
Cameco is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to join the McArthur River team in northern Saskatchewan, the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. This fly-in/fly-out, camp-based position reports to the HR Superintendent and is responsible for delivering HR services on site, including employee and labour relations, recruitment, workforce planning, and administration of HR and benefits programs.

Responsibilities include supporting front-line leaders with employee coaching and mediation, managing performance and attendance, ensuring access to corporate HR programs, and encouraging adoption of best practices in employee relations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business with specialization in HR management
• 5–8 years of relevant HR experience (equivalent education/experience considered)
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
• CPHR designation preferred
• Experience with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors an asset)
• Must pass pre-employment substance test and background check
