FIFO Shift Schedule: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Job Description:
Relief Camp Managers / Housekeepers support the day-to-day operation and cleanliness of large remote camp facilities. This fly-in/fly-out role combines camp leadership with hands-on housekeeping to ensure safe operations, clean accommodations, and high client satisfaction.
Meals, accommodations, and travel are provided. Shifts are long and rotational in a safety-focused, drug- and alcohol-free camp environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily camp operations, staffing, and reporting
- Submitting required administrative, inventory, payroll, and safety documentation
- Managing food safety, storage, and housekeeping standards
- Facilitating safety meetings and supporting incident investigations
- Coaching and supervising camp staff
- Performing housekeeping duties including room cleaning, linen changes, and laundry management
- Coordinating room changeovers and maintaining common areas
Qualifications & experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in a related role (remote camp environment preferred)
- 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and camp/POS systems
- Food Safe Level 1 (required)
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing and complete onboarding requirements
Employment type: Full-time
Compensation: $24.00–$28.00 per hour (overtime available)
Shifts: 10–12 hour shifts (day or night)
