FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off

Job Description:
Gas Plant Operators support daily operations at a gas processing facility near Fort St. John, working in a fly-in/fly-out camp environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in gas processing systems, a high level of safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues in real time.

This is a camp-based FIFO role with accommodations provided. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable gas plant operations in a sour gas environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and monitoring gas plant processing systems
  • Working with amine sweetening, condensate handling (condy), and dehydration units
  • Operating safely in sour gas environments
  • Troubleshooting plant upsets and handling operational issues as they arise
  • Supporting safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations
  • Working collaboratively while demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with amine sweetening, condensate, and dehydration systems (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working in sour gas environments
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Valid safety tickets including H2S Alive and First Aid
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Strong problem-solving skills and disciplined work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
