Job Description:
Wesdome Gold Mines is hiring a Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner for the Eagle River Complex near Wawa, ON. Reporting to the Asset Management Engineer, this role will plan and coordinate maintenance and project activities for fixed plant assets including the mill, compressors, dewatering systems, and hoist plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs for fixed plant assets using SAP and RCM principles
  • Maintain a backlog of planned jobs and ensure work orders are updated accurately in SAP
  • Build job packages, BOMs, SOPs, and checklists to optimize asset reliability and availability
  • Coordinate procurement, staging, and kitting of required parts and tools
  • Support condition monitoring programs (vibration, oil analysis, etc.)
  • Lead planning meetings to review, prioritize, and schedule maintenance tasks
  • Track and report on maintenance KPIs and contribute to budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical maintenance standards and codes in Ontario mine environments
  • Collaborate with supervisors, foremen, and other departments to meet production targets

Requirements:

  • Interprovincial Trade certification (Red Seal) or Mechanical Technologist/Engineer with 3+ years’ relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ industrial/mine experience, with at least 1 year in maintenance planning
  • Maintenance certification (CMRP, MMP, or CRE) an asset
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS systems
  • Excellent MS Office skills; MS Project experience an asset
  • Knowledge of hoist plant operations and gold processing equipment a strong asset
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
