FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Job Description:
Field Operators support daily production operations for a major oil and gas producer near Fort St. John, working in a fly-in/fly-out camp environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work safely and independently while supporting team-based field operations.
This is a camp-based FIFO role with accommodations provided. You’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting field equipment in a dynamic oil and gas production setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring field production equipment
- Working safely in sour gas environments
- Troubleshooting operational issues and responding to field conditions as they arise
- Supporting safe, efficient, and reliable production activities
- Working collaboratively while demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills
Qualifications & requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Operator
- Experience working in sour gas environments
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Valid safety tickets including H2S Alive and First Aid
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach to work
