Job Description
FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Labourers play a key role in supporting mining and construction activities at a remote mine site. Reporting to site supervision, you’ll perform general labour duties related to earthworks, quarrying, and site operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
This is a fly-in/fly-out camp role with meals, accommodations, and travel provided. You’ll work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions and support multiple crews across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with mining and construction activities such as moving materials, installing culverts, dewatering setups, and site preparation
- Supporting equipment operations, including fueling, lubrication, and pre-operational checks
- Performing general site maintenance and housekeeping
- Participating in daily safety meetings and following all site safety procedures
- Completing required safety and equipment documentation
