Job Description:
Cameco is hiring a Carpenter for a temporary 90-day position at the McArthur River Mine in northern Saskatchewan, the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. This fly-in/fly-out role involves performing carpentry and building maintenance tasks, including installation, repair, and upkeep of buildings and equipment in a mining environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyperson Carpenter ticket
- Minimum 5 years’ carpentry experience in industrial or mining environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
- Assets: SAP experience, First Aid certification, scaffolder proficiency, and general maintenance experience
