Job Description:
Dexterra Group is hiring Breakfast Cooks for remote camp operations in Northwestern Ontario. This is a fly-in/fly-out opportunity with travel provided from Winnipeg, MB, Thunder Bay, ON, and surrounding areas. Camp accommodations include private rooms, meals, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, gym, and common areas. Pay starts at $22.48/hour. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking high-volume breakfast service, following food safety regulations, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, accurate food storage and rotation, and producing daily menu items as per contract scope.
Requirements:
- Previous high-volume breakfast cooking experience required
- Current Food Safe certificate
- Large-scale or camp cooking experience an asset (banquet, hotel, or camp settings)
- Red Seal or culinary certifications an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Valid government-issued photo ID for site travel
