Job Description:
Boiler Technicians are accountable for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in remote camp environments. Operating in high-consequence, cold-weather conditions, this role requires strong technical judgment, disciplined troubleshooting, and zero tolerance for safety lapses.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted heat across camps by maintaining boilers, furnaces, frost fighters, and Toyo stoves throughout the winter operating season. This is not light-duty maintenance work—it’s mission-critical infrastructure support in remote locations where failure is not an option.

- Inspecting and testing systems to ensure safe, compliant operation
- Diagnosing and resolving boiler and heating system malfunctions
- Monitoring system performance and making operational adjustments as required
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records
- Recommending system improvements or upgrades
- Training and mentoring junior technicians when required
- Adhering strictly to safety protocols, codes, and industry standards
