Fuel & Lube Technician
FIFO Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (12-hour shifts)
Job Description:
The Fuel & Lube Technician supports mining operations in Northern British Columbia by servicing and maintaining heavy construction and mining equipment in a remote camp-based environment. This is a fly-in / fly-out role with shared accommodations provided on site.
Key responsibilities include:
• Fueling, lubricating, and servicing heavy equipment including excavators, haul trucks, dozers, graders, and loaders
• Operating and maintaining fuel and lube service trucks safely and efficiently
• Performing oil, grease, and fluid changes on off-road equipment
• Maintaining maintenance records and required documentation
• Storing and managing lubricants, oils, and service supplies
• Supporting maintenance personnel as required
• Adhering to site safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Working day or night shifts in all weather conditions
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, or Hitachi equipment considered an asset
• Minimum one year experience operating a fuel and lube truck preferred
• Mining or heavy equipment experience considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ability to pass criminal record, drug, and alcohol testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and complete detailed paperwork
• Willingness to work and reside in a remote camp on a rotational schedule
