FIFO Shift Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Job Description:
The Inventory Counter supports warehouse and inventory operations at a remote mine site in Nunavut. Reporting to the Inventory Management Specialist, this fly-in / fly-out role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control processes in a regulated industrial environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting physical inventory counts and audits to identify discrepancies
• Labeling, organizing, and tracking inventory for accurate identification and retrieval
• Assisting with inventory reconciliation and system adjustments
• Receiving and issuing materials with proper documentation
• Completing inventory transactions within inventory management systems
• Ensuring compliance with WHMIS, TDG, and applicable regulations
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum two years of warehouse or inventory experience in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with SAP is considered an asset
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 23 kg
