FIFO Shift Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off

Job Description:
The Underground Electrician supports mining operations through the inspection, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical systems and equipment. Reporting to the Team Lead, Electrician, this fly-in / fly-out role works in a remote mining environment and collaborates closely with site teams to ensure safe and reliable electrical operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining underground electrical systems and mine equipment
• Installing and maintaining underground substations and pump stations
• Diagnosing electrical issues and completing required repairs
• Reading and interpreting electrical prints and schematics
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical, control, and automation systems
• Supporting the setup and updating of electrical and control schematics
• Participating in safety toolbox talks and adhering to site safety procedures

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification
• Industrial electrical experience in construction and/or mining environments
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and industry best practices
• Experience working in a remote or camp-based setting is considered an asset
