Job Description:
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Assistant General Supervisor, Underground Mine, for the Meliadine Mine in Nunavut. This fly-in fly-out leadership role is responsible for overseeing underground activities and workers, ensuring safe operations, quality standards, and efficient use of resources.

Key duties include developing daily mine plans aligned with weekly KPIs, coordinating with internal teams (Maintenance, Engineering, Geology, Construction), supervising underground crews, conducting frequent field inspections, ensuring safety compliance, and leading QA/QC processes. The role also involves coaching front-line supervisors, evaluating staff, identifying operational variances, and promoting best practices across the mine department.

Candidates must have 5–6 years of mining experience and strong Microsoft Office skills. Leadership, mentoring, and planning abilities are essential.
