Job Description

FIFO Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (12-hour day shifts)

Job Description:
This camp-based FIFO role supports waste and recycling operations at a remote industrial site in the Fort McMurray region. The position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading teams, and ensuring safety, compliance, and service standards are met while working closely with clients and site partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing day-to-day office and field operations
• Leading and supervising teams, including task delegation and performance support
• Conducting regular safety and operational observations
• Managing incident response, reporting, and hazard investigations
• Completing daily tracking, reporting, and administrative duties
• Building and maintaining strong client and partner relationships
• Supporting employee training, development, and performance management
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and applicable laws

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with ability to obtain Class 3 with airbrake endorsement
• Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a related industry
• Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or equivalent certification
• Ability to complete a driver’s evaluation in Fort McMurray
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Eligibility to access all required client sites

Additional Assets:

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with airbrake endorsement
• Professional driving experience
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
