Job Description: B2Gold is seeking a Haul Truck Operator to support civil earthworks at its project site in Nunavut. This fly-in/fly-out position operates on a 3×3 rotational schedule and focuses on safely transporting materials within a construction and mining environment, while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
Key responsibilities include: Safely operate haul trucks in construction and mining settings to meet project targets Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any deficiencies to the Supervisor Maintain equipment in good working condition and log maintenance concerns Communicate effectively with team members using radios, hand signals, and other required methods Participate in daily safety meetings and follow B2Gold Nunavut’s safety policies and procedures Operate in all weather conditions including rain, fog, and winter conditions Assist with other construction duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications & experience: Prior experience operating haul trucks, heavy equipment, wiggle wagons, or similar in construction or mining is an asset Valid driver’s license preferred High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working in remote locations considered an asset Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Employment type: Full-time rotational position Hours: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
