Job Description

FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Pay: ~$44–$52/hour

Job Description:
Skeena Gold + Silver is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to support earthworks and pit operations at the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. Reporting to the Earthworks and Pit Supervisors, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy mining equipment to support construction, quarrying, and mine development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, dozers, graders, and loaders in active mine and earthworks environments
• Perform large-scale material handling (overburden, ore, waste, stockpiles)
• Build and maintain haul roads, benches, ramps, and access roads
• Support drill & blast activities and pit development
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and report hazards or equipment issues
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and site operating procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driver’s license
• 3–5+ years’ experience operating heavy equipment in mining or large civil earthworks
• Experience with haul roads, pit operations, tailings or environmental controls preferred
• Ability to read grade stakes and basic drawings
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts in remote conditions
