Parts Technician – Mobile Maintenance

FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Pay: ~$40–$50/hour
Job Description:
Skeena Gold + Silver is seeking a Parts Technician to support the Mobile Maintenance team at the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. Reporting to the Superintendent, Mobile Maintenance, this role manages parts receiving, inventory control, and distribution to ensure maintenance teams have timely access to critical components for mobile equipment and light vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, store, and track parts and supplies
- Manage inventory levels and critical spares to minimize equipment downtime
- Issue parts to maintenance trades and support scheduled maintenance planning
- Coordinate sourcing, ordering, and expediting of parts with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS or inventory systems
- Support cost control and report inventory trends or shortages
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- 2–3+ years’ experience in parts, inventory, or warehouse roles (mining/heavy equipment preferred)
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and vehicle components (asset)
- Experience with CMMS or inventory software
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
