FIFO Shift Schedule: 15 days on / 13 days off
Job Description:
Gas Plant Operators support daily operations at a gas processing facility near Fort St. John, working in a fly-in/fly-out camp environment. This role is well suited to Power Engineering professionals with strong gas plant experience who can operate safely, troubleshoot effectively, and contribute to reliable plant performance.
This is a camp-based FIFO role with accommodations provided. You’ll play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant gas plant operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring gas plant processing systems
- Troubleshooting operational issues and responding to plant upsets
- Supporting safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations
- Working collaboratively while demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills
- Performing duties in compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications & requirements:
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certification
- 5+ years of experience working in a gas plant environment (preferred)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Valid safety tickets including H2S Alive and First Aid
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Strong problem-solving skills and disciplined work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach
