FIFO Shift Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off

Job Description:
Underground Production Miners support safe and efficient mining operations in a remote underground environment. This role involves operating a variety of underground equipment and carrying out core production activities while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards. The position is a fly-in / fly-out, camp-based role in Nunavut.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating underground mining equipment such as scooptrams, haul trucks, and underground light vehicles
Completing pre- and post-operational equipment inspections and reporting deficiencies
Performing production mining tasks including ore and waste haulage, mucking, blasting support, and stope loading
Monitoring ground conditions and following site protocols
Maintaining housekeeping standards in underground work areas
Communicating shift activities and progress to supervisors

Requirements:

Minimum three (3) years of underground production mining experience
Demonstrated competency operating underground equipment
Valid Standard First Aid certification
Ability to work safely in a remote, underground environment

Assets:

Experience with Sandvik AutoMine or tele-remote systems
Explosives Regulatory Division (ERD) approval letter
