FIFO Shift Schedule: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off

Job Description:
Logisticians support critical supply chain and transportation operations at remote Arctic radar sites across Northern Canada. Working in a fly-in/fly-out camp environment, you’ll manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and ensure the safe movement of materials and personnel in support of the North Warning System.

This is a permanent, unionized rotational role offering long-term stability, extended time off between rotations, and fully provided accommodations in a remote camp setting.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing inventory control, including issuing, receiving, distributing, and disposing of materials

Handling, packaging, labeling, and shipping materials, including dangerous goods, in compliance with regulations

Coordinating transportation of goods and personnel to Long Range and Short Range Radar sites

Collaborating with site teams, Logistics Support System staff, and operations centres

Traveling between adjacent radar sites to provide logistical support

Operating material handling equipment and maintaining organized warehouse areas

Loading and unloading goods and supplies

Following all safety standards and contributing to a respectful, safe work environment

Qualifications & experience:

High school diploma or equivalent education/experience

Valid driver’s license

Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification (air/road/sea)

Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations

Familiarity with inventory systems such as Maximo

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience handling Government Furnished Equipment (asset)

Experience working in a remote camp environment (asset)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in demanding weather conditions

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Ability to work rotational shifts consistently in remote northern environments

Employment type: Permanent, full-time (unionized)
Compensation: $33.91–$42.39 per hour (overtime paid at 1.5x)
