FIFO Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
Job Description:
Millwrights support maintenance and mechanical operations at a remote mine site, ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently. Working at Rio Tinto’s Diavik Diamond Mine, you’ll be part of a team delivering maintenance solutions in a fly-in/fly-out camp environment.
This is a remote FIFO role supporting ongoing site operations at an established mining operation in the Northwest Territories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing mechanical maintenance and repair work at a remote mine site
- Supporting site operations through preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Working safely in accordance with company, client, and site safety standards
- Collaborating with site teams to ensure operational continuity
Qualifications & experience:
- Journeyperson Millwright certification
- Previous experience working in remote or industrial environments
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work rotational shifts in a remote camp setting
