FIFO Shift Schedule: 28 days on / 14 days off
Job Description:
General Helpers support daily camp operations by assisting with cleaning, food service, inventory, and general camp setup activities. This role is well suited to individuals with a hands-on approach who take pride in delivering high-quality service in a remote camp environment.
This is a fly-in/fly-out camp role with training and career development opportunities provided. Prior camp experience is considered an asset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing work and living areas
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Restocking and replenishing food and kitchen items
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Serving hot and cold food items during meal times
- Supporting inventory management
- Loading and unloading grocery deliveries
- Assisting with camp setup and takedown
Qualifications & requirements:
- Camp experience (preferred)
- Valid Food Safety certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Strong English reading and writing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
