FIFO Shift Schedule: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off

Job Description:
The Engineer-in-Training, Civil Technologist supports civil engineering and construction activities at a remote mine site in Nunavut.

Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing civil engineering drawings and drafts using CAD software
• Assisting with construction specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and reports
• Supporting the design of roads, drainage systems, and other mine-related infrastructure
• Conducting site surveys, field data collection, and inspections
• Providing technical support during construction, including coordination with contractors
• Performing basic engineering calculations and design analyses
• Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or certification in Civil Engineering Technology
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation or ability to obtain
• At least one year of experience as a Civil Engineering Technician or EIT
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS applications, and related design tools
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques
