Job Description:
Agnico Eagle is hiring a Mine Trainer for Underground Operations at the Detour Lake Mine. This fly-in fly-out role supports the Underground Operations Department and focuses on delivering classroom and field-based health, safety, and mobile equipment training.

Key responsibilities include evaluating worker competency, mentoring trainees, updating training materials, and ensuring compliance with Ontario mining regulations and site standards. The role also supports continuous improvement of training programs and promotes a strong safety culture.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, a minimum of 10 years of underground mining experience with 3–5 years in a training role, Ontario Common Core modules, and a recognized Train-the-Trainer qualification. Experience training on underground equipment such as jumbos, bolters, scissor decks, and scooptrams is required.

This position offers full camp accommodations and meals at no cost to the employee. Employment is full-time and salaried.
