FIFO Shift Schedule: 7/7 Rotation (13-hour shifts)

Job Description:
Redpath Canada Limited is hiring a Shift Boss for the North Mine Project in Sudbury, ON. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, this role supervises underground crews on a day-to-day basis, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with mine regulations. Responsibilities include directing and coordinating work crews, monitoring equipment condition, scheduling repairs, completing reports, and ensuring employees are properly trained and equipped to work safely.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ hard rock mining experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role
  • Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core – Full Basic (or provincial equivalent)
  • Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Front Line Supervisor (or provincial equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of OHS and mine regulations
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of production equipment
  • Ability to multitask, lead by example, and work effectively as part of a team
