FIFO Shift Schedule: 14/14 or 7/7 Rotation (12-hour shifts)
Job Description:
Redpath Canada Limited is hiring an Underground Crane Operator for the Onaping Depth Project in Sudbury, ON. Reporting to the Supervisor, this role operates a 15-Ton Broderson crane to transfer heavy objects and steelwork for underground construction activities. Duties include safe crane operation, assisting in lift planning, equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and ensuring adequate rigging supplies. Operators may also be required to run other machinery as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Crane Operator Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Experience operating 15-Ton Broderson cranes
- Minimum 5 years crane operating experience (open pit or mining-related industry)
- Strong knowledge of crane safety, maintenance, and safe work practices
- Physical stamina for long shifts in challenging underground conditions
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols
