Job Description:
A major underground mining operation in Northern Ontario is hiring Paste Crew Members to support critical backfill operations. This fly-in fly-out role is responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining underground paste fill systems that ensure safe and efficient mine production.
Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining paste, water, air, and pump piping networks; building and monitoring paste bulkheads, pumps, and reticulation systems; inspecting and troubleshooting piping; and supporting service crews with ventilation and other underground tasks. Operators must follow all site safety standards.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of underground experience in paste or service crews, a strong safety record, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Hard Rock Mining Common Core certification is preferred, though training may be arranged. Physical fitness and solid problem-solving skills are required.
