Job Description:
An underground mining operation in Northern Ontario is hiring multiple Charge-Up Operators for both development and production roles. This fly-in fly-out position is responsible for carrying out safe and effective blasting activities that support underground mining operations.

Key responsibilities include performing development blasting (sub-drift, breast, slash, drift rounds), handling ANFO and initiating systems, operating and maintaining charging vehicles, directing activities at development headings, and mentoring less experienced crew members. Operators must also maintain safe, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.

Candidates must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least 5 years of underground mining experience, and 3+ years in a charge-up role. Hard Rock Mining Common Core and a Working at Heights Certificate are preferred (training may be arranged). Strong communication, problem-solving, and safety focus are required.
