FIFO Shift Schedule: 7/7 Rotation (12-hour day shifts)

Job Description:
Wesdome Gold Mines is seeking a Truck & Coach Mechanic to join the maintenance team at the Eagle River Mine in Wawa, ON. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty mobile equipment, including haul trucks, service vehicles, and surface fleet equipment, to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on surface equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and braking systems
• Maintain detailed service records in compliance with mine and safety standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
• Safely operate lifting and hoisting equipment as required
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and participate in safety initiatives

Requirements:

• Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Certification or Registered Apprentice (required)
• 3–5 years of experience with heavy-duty vehicles or mining equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence (Class G minimum)
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance
• Mine Common Core certification an asset
• Experience in heavy equipment/mining environment preferred
