Job Description:
Newmont is hiring Maintenance Electricians for the Brucejack Gold Mine in Northern BC. This is a fly-in/fly-out opportunity with camp accommodations, private rooms, meals, and recreation facilities included. Pay starts at $61.20/hour. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and power generation equipment, installing and servicing high-voltage power systems, interpreting drawings, conducting system tests, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Red Seal Electrical Certification
• Experience in mining or industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage power systems (138kV/69kV/5kV/600V)
• PSSP (Power Systems Safety Protection)
• Experience with power generation plants, switchgear, and transformers
• Ability to work safely in high-voltage environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
