Job Description:
Cameco is hiring an Industrial Mechanic for a temporary 90-day position at the McArthur River Mine in northern Saskatchewan, the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. This fly-in/fly-out role involves performing predictive and preventative maintenance, completing repairs and overhauls on equipment and piping systems (surface and underground), and troubleshooting equipment failures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic ticket
- 3–5 years’ industrial experience as a journeyperson
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working underground and on surface
- Assets: underground maintenance experience and SAP experience
