Job Description:
Agnico Eagle is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Engineering Department at the Meadowbank Complex in Nunavut. This fly-in fly-out position involves producing and stewarding weekly mine plans, optimizing production strategies, coordinating between Engineering, Geology, and Mine Operations, and supporting safe, efficient open pit operations.

Key responsibilities include preparing short-range mine plans, reporting on daily production activities, providing ore blends to the mill, monitoring haul roads and waste dump development, creating aggregate schedules, and mentoring junior engineers. The role may also act as supervisor in their absence.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, have 4+ years of mining operations experience, and be eligible for professional engineering registration (NAPEG membership an asset). Experience in open pit mine planning, drill and blast, or operations supervision is required.
