Job Description:
Redpath is hiring Alimak Raise Miners for the Alamos Shaft Sinking & Headwork Project in Dubreuilville, ON. Work begins mid-October 2025.
Scope of Work includes setup and operation of Alimak systems, driving raises, slashing to bin diameter, cable bolting, and shotcreting. Responsibilities involve operating mechanized raise climbers, scaling, drilling, installing ground support, interpreting mine plans, and ensuring safe, efficient work under supported ground.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience with conventional mining or handheld drills
- Minimum 6 months as a Mechanized Raise Miner
- Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core – Full Basic (preferred)
- Specialty Module U0064 (preferred)
- MRC training program completion recommended
- Ability to work independently or with a partner
- Strong safety and teamwork focus
