Job Description:
Cameco is hiring a Welder for a 12-month temporary position at the McArthur River Mine in northern Saskatchewan, the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. This fly-in/fly-out role involves welding work on structures and equipment to specifications, conducting predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting failures, and documenting repairs both underground and on surface.
Qualifications:
- Valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyperson Welder ticket
- Minimum 5 years’ industrial experience as a journeyperson
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Required to work both underground and on surface
- Assets: SAP experience and previous underground maintenance experience
