FIFO Shift Schedule: 14/14 Rotation (12-hour shifts)

Job Description:
Redpath Canada is seeking experienced Jumbo Bolter Operators for the Musselwhite Project in Northern Ontario. This role involves drilling, scaling, meshing, and bolting rounds using jumbos with twin telescopic slides, while ensuring ground control and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and wash down work areas, checking for misfires
• Assess ground conditions and apply appropriate ground control
• Install mesh and bolts to site standards using twin boom split feed jumbo
• Mentor and train offsiders to ensure safe work practices
• Conduct face preparation, drill rounds, and follow engineered drill profiles
• Perform minor equipment repairs (shanks, couplings, hoses)
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and maintain reports
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Comply with Redpath safety systems, WHMIS, and mining regulations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Common Core – Full Basic (or provincial equivalent)
• Specialty Module U0089 (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with jumbo bolting
• At least 1 year of scoop operation, service installation, and blasting rounds
• Ability to read mine plans, survey memos, and engineered drill profiles
• Strong teamwork, multitasking, and communication skills
• Respectful of cultural differences
